"I first found Sunny Chestnut Farm on Instagram. We had an 11-year-old Berner and apparently, I follow a lot of Bernese Mountain Dog pages! I reached out to Tyler after we lost our good old boy. As first-time puppy owners, choosing your dog can be nerve wracking. We chose Sunny Chestnut Farm because they truly care about the health and happiness of their dogs. We felt comfort seeing previous liters not only on their website, but also through social media. We waited for a female pup, and Tyler always kept us up to date. Once the pups were born, we received photos and videos and even took a visit to see the pups. Tyler always answered any questions we had and provided as much information as possible. Tyler continues to check in on her pups even almost 4 years later. Our baby Maple is the daughter of Sugar and Yosef. She is calm yet silly and playful. She is so very loyal, and loves other humans and animals. She is so smart, and of course SO cute. Maple is a very healthy dog, and hasn’t had any issues. Tyler’s knowledge and experience with animals was so helpful, and she even helped us find a good reputable emergency vet when Maple accidentally ingested a wild mushroom. Tyler continued to check in on her to make sure she was doing ok. We WILL go back to Sunny Chestnut Farm in the future, and we live all the way in Indiana now! We wouldn’t even bother to look anywhere else!"

"We had been following Sunny Chestnut Farm on Instagram long before we decided to get our first dog, just because we loved the breed and Tyler posts wonderful content about her gorgeous dogs. When we decided to get a BMD, we immediately contacted SCF to get more information. We never vetted any other breeder, we could tell from the start that this would be a great partnership. The wait time quoted was accurate, and it was clear that a lot of attention was given to making sure the puppies were raised/socialized well in the first 8 weeks and that the best puppy match was considered. Tyler asked so many good questions and paired us up with our dream girl, Ember. We received so much helpful information about the breed and raising a puppy in the time between Tyler confirming we had a puppy until the “gotcha” day. We never felt alone at any point, even after Ember came home, because Tyler was available and provided so much care and support. Ember is a wonderful dog, she is sassy and fun and sweet and just perfect – healthy, beautiful, and a wonderful “daughter”. She gets attention wherever she goes; we constantly hear from random people how beautiful she is. She has transformed our home and lives. "We had a wonderful experience with Sunny Chestnut Farm adopting our Bernese, Sage. Before we were picked, Tyler took the time to ask us questions ensuring the puppy would be going to a safe and loving home. She sent us multiple updates before Sage was born and afterwards until we picked her up. Picking up Sage was a smooth process, and we even got to meet her mom, Sugar! Tyler has stayed in contact with us and loves receiving updates on Sage. She is quick to reply and answer any questions we have had. Sage has been an amazing addition to our family.
